LocalSolver Options for AMPL

To set these options, assign a string specifying their values to the AMPL option locsol_options. For example:

ampl: option locsol_options 'version timelimit=30';

Options

annealing_level
Simulated annealing level. Default = 1.
iterlimit
Iteration limit (nonnegative integer). Default = largest positive integer.
logfile
Path of the LocalSolver log file. Default = "" (no log file).
multiobj
0 or 1 (default 0): Whether to use multi-objective optimization. If set to 1 multi-objective optimization is performed using lexicographic method with the first objective treated as the most important, then the second objective and so on.
objno

Objective to optimize:

0 – none
1 – first (default, if available)
2 – second (if available), etc.
pl_bigm
The artificial bound used for unbounded variables in piecewise-linear terms. Default = 1e6.
seed
Seed of the pseudo-random number generator used by the solver. Default = 0.
threads
Number of threads used to parallelize the search. Default = 2.
time_between_displays
Time in seconds between two consecutive displays in console while the solver is running. Default = 1.
timelimit
Time limit in seconds (nonnegative integer). Default = 10.
timing
0 or 1 (default 0): Whether to display timings for the run.
verbosity

Verbosity level of the solver. Possible values:

terseTerse verbosity.
quietAll the traces are disabled (default).
normalNormal verbosity.
detailedDetailed verbosity. Displays extended statistics on the model.
version
Single-word phrase: report version details before solving the problem.
wantsol

In a stand-alone invocation (no -AMPL on the command line), what solution information to write. Sum of

1 – write .sol file
2 – primal variables to stdout
4 – dual variables to stdout
8 – suppress solution message
