Position Summary

The Marketing Research Analyst performs research and analysis of current sales channels using marketing, business analytics, and data analysis tools to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for business growth. The role also supports optimization-related use cases, client presentations, outbound sales strategies, and customer outreach marketing programs for the company’s optimization software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform research and analysis of current sales channels using marketing, business analytics, and data analysis tools
  • Develop and support test use cases involving mathematical optimization applications for the academic sector
  • Develop and support optimization-related models and demonstration materials for commercial customers
  • Develop and support optimization-related models and presentation materials for government departments and non-government organizations
  • Gather, organize, analyze, and interpret market and business data to prepare presentations, reports, and client-facing materials for current and prospective customers of the company’s optimization software
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to current and potential clients regarding product applications, business benefits, and market-relevant use cases
  • Organize and conduct outbound sales and business development strategies
  • Prepare, coordinate, and participate in customer outreach and marketing programs, including campaigns, events, and promotional initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in marketing research, business analysis, marketing analytics, or related occupation
  • Data and marketing analytics
  • Experience developing and supporting mathematical optimization models
